Namaste, iam Yvonne Aviles, Buongiorno.

Wow, it’s cold in here! 12 degrees is no joke - I’m shivering just thinking about it. But hey, at least I don’t have to worry about the AC bill this month. It’s so cold that I’m tempted to just stay in bed all day and bundle up with a blanket. But then again, that might not be the best idea since I need to get stuff done. Guess I’ll just have to tough it out and put on an extra layer of clothes!

Is 12 Degrees Cold For A House? [Solved]

Wow, that’s chilly! Anything below 13° is too cold for your health - it can raise your blood pressure and increase the risk of heart problems. Between 14-15°, you’re not in the clear either - it could weaken your defenses against respiratory illnesses. 18° is the sweet spot though - that’s what you should aim for in your bedroom at night.

  1. Insulation: Ensure your home is properly insulated to keep the heat in and the cold out. This includes sealing any cracks or gaps around windows and doors, as well as adding insulation to attics, walls, and floors.

  2. Heating System: Make sure your heating system is working properly and that it is set to a temperature that will keep your home warm enough during cold weather. Consider investing in a programmable thermostat for more efficient heating control.

  3. Windows: Install double-paned windows with low-emissivity (Low-E) coating to reduce heat loss through the glass panes. Also consider using window treatments such as curtains or blinds to further reduce heat loss when closed at night or during colder days of the year.

  4. Doors: Install weatherstripping around exterior doors to prevent drafts from entering your home, and use door sweeps on interior doors if needed for additional protection against cold air infiltration from outside sources such as hallways or stairwells leading into your house from outside areas of the building structure itself

  5. Fireplace/Wood Stove: If you have a fireplace or wood stove in your home, make sure it is properly sealed off when not in use so that no cold air can enter through it into other parts of the house while you are trying to keep warm inside during winter months

  6. Humidifier: Use a humidifier if necessary to add moisture back

It’s freezing in here! The house is a whopping 12 degrees cold. Brrr! I’m shivering just thinking about it. It’s so cold, you could hang meat in here! Time to crank up the heat and get cozy.
