Hola, iam Mary Scull, Hope you’re doing well!

Oh man, it’s freezing in this 16c cold house! I’m shivering like crazy. But hey, at least I’m not alone - my family is here with me. We’re all huddled together trying to stay warm. It’s been a long winter and we’ve had to get creative with our heating solutions. But thankfully, we’ve managed to make it through without too much trouble. Now if only the temperature would rise a bit!

Is 16C Too Cold For A House? [Solved]

If your home is 14-15°, you’re asking for trouble! 18° is the ideal temp for nighttime, and 19-21° during the day. Anything above 24-27º and you’re putting babies and young kids at risk - not cool!

  1. Insulation: Ensuring your home is properly insulated is key to keeping it cool in the summer and warm in the winter. This includes sealing any air leaks, adding insulation to walls and ceilings, and installing weather stripping around windows and doors.

  2. Window Treatments: Installing window treatments such as blinds or curtains can help keep out direct sunlight during the day, reducing the amount of heat that enters your home.

  3. Fans: Ceiling fans or portable fans can be used to circulate air throughout a room, helping to keep it cooler on hot days.

  4. Shade Trees: Planting trees near windows can provide shade from direct sunlight, reducing the amount of heat that enters your home through those windows.

  5. Air Conditioner: An air conditioner is an effective way to cool down a house quickly on hot days; however, they are energy-intensive and should be used sparingly when possible for maximum efficiency.

  6. Ventilation System: A ventilation system helps circulate fresh air throughout a house while also removing stale air; this helps keep temperatures more consistent throughout the day without having to rely on an AC unit or other cooling methods as much as you would otherwise need to do so
