Notify Your Supervisor: It is important to inform your supervisor of your decision to quit the internship as soon as possible. This will give them time to find a replacement and ensure that any projects you were working on are completed in a timely manner.
Provide Notice: Depending on the terms of your internship, you may be required to provide two weeks or more notice before leaving the position. Make sure you understand what is expected of you and provide adequate notice so that your employer can plan accordingly.
Return Company Property: Before leaving, make sure all company property such as laptops, phones, or other items have been returned in good condition and any passwords have been changed back to their original settings if applicable.
Write a Resignation Letter: Writing a formal resignation letter is an important step in quitting an internship and should include details such as when you are leaving, why you are leaving, and how much notice you are providing if applicable.
