Hola, iam Roger Freeland, Hope you’re having a great day!

Wow, my Spanish great-grandparents - what a story! They were so full of life and culture. From their traditional recipes to their colorful stories, they had a way of making me feel like I was part of something special. Growing up, I loved hearing about their lives in Spain and how they made the journey to America. It’s amazing how much they accomplished in such a short amount of time - talk about inspiring! Even though they’re no longer with us, I’m grateful for the memories and lessons that will stay with me forever.

What Do Spanish Call Their Great Grandparents? [Solved]

Well, a grandson is a “nieto” and his grandkids are called “nietos”. But if it’s a granddaughter, then she’s a “nieta”. And if you’re talking about great-grandma, that’d be “bisabuela”, and for great-great grandma it’s “tátara abuela”. Pretty cool, huh?

  1. Language: Spanish was the primary language spoken by your great grandparents, so it is likely that they passed down some of their native language to you and your family.

  2. Culture: Your great grandparents were likely steeped in the culture of their homeland, which may have been passed down to you and your family through stories, recipes, music, and more.

  3. Traditions: Your great grandparents may have had certain traditions that were unique to their culture or region of origin that they shared with you and your family over the years.

  4. History: Learning about the history of where your great grandparents came from can help you gain a better understanding of who they were as people and how their experiences shaped them into who they became in life.

  5. Legacy: The legacy left behind by your great grandparents is something that will live on for generations to come; it is important to remember them fondly and honor their memory in whatever way possible.

My great-grandparents were from Spain - talk about cool! They spoke Spanish, so I’m sure they had some interesting stories to tell. I wish I could’ve heard them firsthand, but unfortunately, that wasn’t in the cards. Still, it’s amazing to think of how far their legacy has come.
