Discarding and Drawing: On each turn, a player must discard one card from their hand and draw another card from either the top of the deck or from a pile in front of them that contains discarded cards from previous turns (known as “the discard pile”).
Melds and Sets: Players can create melds (three or more cards with matching numbers) and sets (three or four cards with matching suits) during their turn in order to reduce their hand size and get closer to winning the game by getting rid of all their cards first.
Wild Cards: Jokers are wildcards that can be used as any card when creating melds and sets during a turn, but they cannot be discarded on their own unless they are part of a meld or set being discarded at once by a player on their turn..
