High levels of these antibodies can indicate an autoimmune disorder such as Hashimoto’s disease which is a type of hypothyroidism caused by your own immune system attacking your own body’s cells in your thyroid gland tissue resulting in low hormone production from this organ system leading to symptoms associated with low hormone production such as fatigue, weight gain, depression etc
