Sup, iam Berniece Harryman, Asalam walekum.
Ah man, I’m so glad to be back after my longest anime hiatus ever! It felt like forever since I last watched an episode. But, I’m back in the game and ready to catch up on all the new shows. Let’s get started!
What Is The Longest Anime Hiatus? [Solved]
Wow, 8 years already! It’s flown by so fast. I can’t believe it’s been that long since Gray-Man Hallow first started. Time sure does fly when you’re having fun!
One Piece: One Piece is the longest running anime series, with a hiatus of over two years between 2006 and 2008. During this time, the show was on hiatus due to production issues and a lack of new material from the manga source material.
Naruto: Naruto had a hiatus of almost two years between 2007 and 2009 due to production issues and a lack of new material from the manga source material.
Dragon Ball Z: Dragon Ball Z had an extended break in 2003-2004 due to production issues as well as a lack of new material from the manga source material.
Bleach: Bleach had an extended break in 2012-2013 due to production issues as well as a lack of new material from the manga source material.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Fullmetal Alchemist had an extended break in 2004-2005 due to production issues as well as a lack of new material from the manga source material
Well, that’s a bummer! The longest anime hiatus ever recorded was over four years. Yikes! It’s hard to imagine taking such a long break from something you love. But it happened - and it was definitely a record-breaker. Talk about an eternity!
