Wow, can you believe it? Year LXII is here already! Time sure flies when you’re having fun. It’s been an incredible journey so far and I’m excited to see what this year has in store. From new beginnings to fresh opportunities, I’m ready to take on whatever comes my way. Here’s to a great year ahead!

The Year of the Consulship of Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus and Marcus Licinius Crassus: This was the year that Julius Caesar was appointed as Pontifex Maximus, a high priest in Roman religion. It marked the beginning of his rise to power and eventual dictatorship.
The Battle of Pharsalus: This battle between Julius Caesar and Pompey took place during this year, resulting in a decisive victory for Caesar which ultimately led to his control over Rome.
The Siege of Massilia: This siege was conducted by Caesar against the city-state of Massilia (modern day Marseille) which had sided with Pompey during the civil war between them. After a lengthy siege, Massilia eventually surrendered to Caesar’s forces in this year.
The Assassination of Cicero: Cicero, one of Rome’s most famous orators and statesmen, was assassinated by agents sent by Mark Antony on December 7th during this year due to his opposition to Antony’s political ambitions.
Year LXII was a wild ride! It seemed like it flew by in the blink of an eye. We had our ups and downs, but overall it was a great year. From new beginnings to exciting adventures, there was never a dull moment. We laughed, we cried, and we made memories that will last forever. Here’s to Year LXII - cheers!
