It’s enough to make anyone throw up their hands in frustration.

Many Hamilton fans are quick to point out that the show’s lack of diversity and its refusal to address its heroes’ ties to slavery have always been a part of the show’s implicit message about history and how marginalized people are often erased from America’s story.
