Greetings, iam Rebecca Brewer, I hope your day is as beautiful as your smile.

Well, that’s the million-dollar question, isn’t it? Oden’s sudden departure has everyone scratching their heads. Did he quit or was he pushed? Nobody knows for sure, but one thing’s for sure: it came as a real shocker! It seems like only yesterday we were all cheering him on and now he’s gone. It’s a real shame - Oden was such a great asset to the team. Ah well, c’est la vie!

Why Did Oden Quit? [Solved]

He’s been through a lot, but he’s ready to move on. After all, it’s not like he can turn back the clock. Oden had to face the facts: his body just couldn’t keep up anymore. So, with a heavy heart, he decided to hang up his sneakers for good.

Still, Oden looks back fondly on his time in the NBA and is grateful for all of the opportunities it gave him. He may be done with basketball now, but at least he can say that he gave it his all while it lasted!

  1. Oden’s Retirement: In December 2020, Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic, better known as Oden, announced his retirement from the NBA after 13 years in the league.

  2. Injury History: Oden had a long history of injuries that plagued his career and ultimately led to his decision to retire. He suffered multiple knee injuries throughout his career and was unable to stay healthy for an extended period of time.

  3. Impact on Team: Despite not being able to stay healthy for an extended period of time, Oden still had a positive impact on the team when he was able to play. He provided a strong defensive presence in the paint and was a reliable rebounder when he was on the court.

  4. Legacy: Although Oden’s career may have been cut short due to injury, he will still be remembered as one of the best centers in recent memory and will always be remembered fondly by Trail Blazers fans for his contributions during his time with the team.

Oden definitely quit - no doubt about it. He threw in the towel and moved on. Ain’t no coming back now!
