Well, that’s the million-dollar question, isn’t it? Rush Propst left his post as head coach of Colquitt County High School in Georgia back in 2019. It was a shock to many fans and players alike, but the truth is that he had been dealing with some personal issues for quite some time. So, while it was sudden and unexpected, it wasn’t entirely out of the blue.

Wow, that’s a shocker! Coach Propst is on leave while the GHSA looks into claims he gave parents of players an unfair advantage by helping them move to the district. It’s a real bummer, but hopefully they’ll get to the bottom of it soon.
Date of Departure: Rush Propst left his position as head coach of Colquitt County High School in Moultrie, Georgia on December 31, 2019.
Reason for Leaving: Propst resigned from his position due to personal reasons and a desire to pursue other opportunities.
