Why Does It Feel Like Something Is Moving In My Stomach? [Solved]

Once the food is in your intestines, enzymes and acids break it down into smaller pieces so that your body can absorb the nutrients. This process is called digestion. It’s amazing how quickly your body can do this - you’ll be feeling full one minute and then hungry again in no time!

  1. Abdominal Pain: This is a common symptom of feeling like your stomach is moving, and can range from mild to severe. It may be accompanied by cramping, bloating, or nausea.

  2. Diarrhea: Loose stools or frequent bowel movements can be a sign that something is wrong with your digestive system and could indicate that you are feeling like your stomach is moving.

  3. Gas: Excessive gas production in the intestines can cause discomfort and make it feel like your stomach is moving around inside of you.

  4. Acid Reflux: This condition occurs when acid from the stomach backs up into the esophagus, causing a burning sensation in the chest and throat area as well as an uncomfortable feeling in the abdomen that may feel like movement within the stomach area.

  5. Food Intolerance: Eating certain foods can trigger an immune response which causes inflammation in the digestive tract leading to symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating, gas, diarrhea or constipation which may make it feel like your stomach is moving around inside of you.
